Qawwali

I've never seen eyes or souls shine with such brilliance. I can't be too sure what happened tonight but I'm fairly certain my heart and mind exploded into a million stars, leapt into the bright summer sky that is Qawwali. I've fallen into the space between laughter and tears and have been swallowed up in pure captivation, pure openness, pure bliss. I hope I never come back.
