My newest obsession: Phantogram's combination of organic beats and soft airy voices. I have been listening to their new album Eyelid Movies for three days straight and saw them Saturday night at Mercury Lounge. Known for their intricately seductive blend of hip hop inspired electronica and breathy lyrics, the duo creates an undeniably emotional aura, invoking whimsical reflection with thought provoking hooks and complimentary soul-soothing melodies.
